1 thessalonians

“The Thessalonians understood the concept of looking out for one another well in part because Paul, Silas and Timothy wouldn’t let them forget it. In fact, there’s a phrase that Paul used to encourage his congregation and describe this concept:

work produced by faith
labor prompted by love
endurance inspired by hope

I pray that as you read this compelling book that you too can feel the urgency from Paul and his cohorts. To love deeper, to understand wider and yes, to have a renewed desire to look out for your fellow sister even when tears and arguments are involved. It’s helpful for me to remember that as believers we will never go wrong focusing on the life changing sacrifice of Jesus.”
